青木野枝 新作版画展 “Plasmolysis” @GALLERY HASHIMOTO　Noe Aoki　New prints show

１２月５日より東日本橋のギャラリー・ハシモトにて、青木野枝 新作版画展「Plasmolysis」が始まりました。久しぶりの版画展となった今回の作品は、展覧会のタイトルである「Plasmolysis」（プラズモリシス）シリーズの銅版画と、「桃符」（とうふ）と名付けられた木版画シリーズで構成されています。

これら二つのシリーズは今年同時期に制作されたものですが、物質感、立体感、色彩など、とても対照的です。カーボランダムという少し特殊な銅版画技法やエッチング、水性、油性木版というそれぞれに違った素材・技法により、作家が持つその両極の特質が導き出されたとも言えます。

これらの版画にあるその特徴や魅力は、印刷物や画像では味わうことが困難です。ギャラリーにお出かけいただき、実物をご覧いただければ幸いです。
会期も、年をまたいで１月１６日まで開いています。

On 5th Dec., Noe Aoki’s new print show “Plasmolysis” started at GALLERY HASHIMOTO in Higashi-Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
This show is held after four years as her print show. The prints consist of a etching series “Plasmolysis” and a series of woodcut “Toufu”.

Though these two series were made in the same period of this year, those characteristics are so contrastive in materials, textures and colors.
For these prints, many deferent technique and materials were used, such as a special kind of etching  technique  “carborundum”, straight etchings and spit-bite with Chine-Collé, water-besed and oil-based woodcut. It could be said that these variable techniques and materials drew out her contrastive sides.
